 I'm Harriet, an Edinburgh based artist specialising in highly realistic coloured pencil, charcoal and graphite portraits. Having grown up in the English countryside, my love for animals are the inspiration of my work, my  life-long relationship with both dogs and horses has given me  an acute understanding of their anatomy, muscle structure and movement which is essential. I believe the key to a truly special portrait is capturing the essence and personality of my subject.
